Thank you for your interest in one of our rescues.

Please read all of the following before filling out an application.
We are located in Stokes County, NC.  We are a very small organization and we do not have a shelter with operating hours. The following guidelines have been established in order to speed up the adoption process.

1.
Fill out our adoption application.  Please include all questions and comments at the end of the application. We only set up appointments to meet animals after we have received an application and it has been approved.

2.  It is essential that we have a name and phone number of your current veterinarian.  Please be sure to list all animals you own currently.  In order to be considered for one of our rescues it is the policy of Animal Rescue of Stokes County that your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on their vaccinations and preventatives, rabies, heartworm, and parvo distemper and your cats are spayed or neutered and current on feline leukemia, feline aides test, rabies, and distemper.

3. Since we are a network of volunteers that are employed at full time jobs, it may take up to one week to process your application because we strive to provide our rescues with safe, secure, and loving homes for the rest of their lives.
