THE 6TH ANNUAL "MUSIC FOR MUTTS" FUNDRAISER WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 13, 2012 AT CENTRAL PARK IN KING FROM 12 NOON - 4:00 PM

This year's event will include music the Taylor Vaden Band and Punk Floyd Project (80's music) food by Chestnut Grove Ruritans once again this year! Pet Costume Contest, silent auction, microchipping from 1- 4 pm with Dr. Bill Dawkins, demonstrations by the Winston Salem Dog Training Club, rescue items for sale, pet portraits drawn by local artist Jane Rollyson, inflatables for kids to enjoy (3-4 inflatables for $5 play all day with supervision!). So bring out your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a day of music, food and fun! The schedule of events will be:
12:00 - 2:00 pm Winston Salem Dog Training Club demonstrations
12:00 - 4:00 pm Inflatables available for kids by Kids Play All day play for $5.00 (includes supervision)
12:00 - 4:00 pm Pet Portraits by Jan Rollyson of Blue Planet Images Jan specializes in pen and ink drawings
12:30 - 1:30 pm The Taylor Vaden Band
1:00 - 4:00 pm Microchipping Clinic - $20 to include registration
2:00 - 3:00 pm Punk Floyd Project Band (80's music)
3:00 - 3:30 pm Pet Costume Contest- $5.00 entry fee (this year we will have judges) Categories are: Celebrity Look Alike Owner-Dog Look Alike Most Original Goblin. Gift bags for category winners and overall overall winner 3:30 pm Announcement of auction winners. This year's auction will be a silent auction. Bid on items under the rescue tent. Auction bidding begins at 12 noon and ends at 3:00 p.m. You do not need to be present to win

Directions to Central Park in King- from 1-40 take 52 North to the Tobaccoville / King exit. Take a right off exit. Continue to the second traffic light and take a right on Kirby Road. There are two entrances to the park. The second entrance would be the closest for walking. They are both on the left side of the road. Parking is free also. Bring your lawn chair, your four legged and two legged friends and enjoy the day! If the weather is not cooperative, check this website the morning of the event for updates before traveling here.
