It is important that animals that live outside have proper shelter to protect them from adverse weather conditions. ARSC has a campaign effort dubbed “Give a Dog a House Campaign” and here is how it works. Any sized doghouse (S-XL) that has 4 sides with an entrance, roof and floor, with no holes can be donated. If you have something that fits that description, email us at: arsc2004@gmail.com
Once we receive the house it will be donated to families throughout the community in need of a doghouse, free of charge. Any and all donations are needed and accepted and tax deductible.
FUNDRAISERS WE ARE DOING:
BARBECUE FUNDRAISER- will be held on Saturday, September 25. Pick-up starting at 11:00 am at Bobby's Garage in Walnut Cove. Tickets will be on sale beginning in late August. Great barbecue by Charles Montgomery!
"MUSIC FOR MUTTS"- this year's event will be held on October 16 from 12 noon - 4:00 pm at Central Park in King, N.C. Check the "Music for Mutts" page for for auction items and schedule of events. A great day is planned for all ages!
